The Syrian-American Friendship Group was established in 1986, based on a vision initiated by Dr. Mohammad Barrak, whose idea laid the foundation for the group’s mission and long-term direction. His strategic foresight helped define the early framework and objectives of the organization.
Today, the group is led by Mr. Alamin M. Barrak, who serves as President and Legal Officer. Under his leadership, the organization is expanding its presence and strengthening its engagement with both Syrian and American communities.
Together, the founders embody a shared commitment to dialogue, cooperation, and a lasting vision of building stronger relations between Syria and the United States.
